Day 1: La Línea de la Concepción > San Martín del Tesorillo (29km)
Begin your journey in La Línea de la Concepción, with stunning views of Gibraltar as your backdrop. As you head inland, the Mediterranean breeze gives way to rolling fields and picturesque countryside. Pass through quaint villages and olive groves before reaching the charming town of San Martín del Tesorillo, nestled amid lush orange groves. Unwind in this peaceful setting and savor the simple pleasures of Andalusian life.
 

Day 2: San Martín del Tesorillo > Jimena de la Frontera (18km)
This day’s walk is shorter but no less spectacular, as you head toward the enchanting whitewashed village of Jimena de la Frontera. Along the way, the landscape changes to gentle hills dotted with cork oaks and wildflowers. Arriving in Jimena, you’ll be greeted by its iconic castle perched high above the town. Wander its narrow cobblestone streets, take in the sweeping views, and enjoy a warm Andalusian welcome.
 

Day 3: Jimena de la Frontera > El Colmenar (22km)
Set off into the heart of Los Alcornocales Natural Park, one of Europe’s largest cork forests. The serene beauty of this protected area surrounds you as you trek through verdant trails, crossing streams and spotting native wildlife. The journey ends in El Colmenar, a tranquil riverside village. Here, relax to the soothing sounds of the Guadiaro River and recharge for the days ahead.
 

Day 4: El Colmenar > Jimera de Líbar (25km)
Experience one of the most scenic stretches of your journey as you follow the winding path of the Guadiaro River. Each step brings you closer to Jimera de Líbar, a hidden gem surrounded by lush greenery and rugged mountain peaks. Explore the village’s rustic charm and indulge in traditional tapas at a local eatery. This is Andalusia at its most authentic.
 

Day 5: Jimera de Líbar > Ronda (20km)
The final leg of your walking adventure takes you to Ronda, a city that will take your breath away. The trail winds through the serene countryside, climbing gradually until you reach this historic jewel perched on a dramatic gorge. Explore Ronda’s iconic Puente Nuevo bridge, visit its ancient bullring, and wander its vibrant streets filled with lively cafés and artisan shops. It’s a triumphant ending to an unforgettable journey.
 

Day 6: Optional Sightseeing in Setenil de las Bodegas & Ronda
Cap off your adventure with a day of exploration. Visit the incredible Setenil de las Bodegas, famous for its unique cave dwellings carved into cliffs. Then, return to Ronda to uncover more of its rich history, from ancient Moorish baths to charming plazas. Take your time to savor every moment of this captivating region before saying goodbye to Andalusia. Heading back to La Linea at 18:00pm
