·Ticket to both activities and transport included from Gibraltar to Mijas (we will pick you up along the A7 where is best for you)

Mijas is just lovely on its own! Beautiful streets and lots of things to do with Random Fun Adventures make it unforgettable!

We will start our trip to Mijas by visiting the Contemporary Museum of Mijas, where we will admire more than 39 artworks by Picasso and 49 by Dalí + other 600 artworks by other famous artists from all around the world. The visit will be guided in English and Spanish.

Then we will go to the Mayan Monkeys Chocolate Factory, in which we learn about the fascinating origins of chocolate, including the key role of Spain in the history of chocolate, and also the process of turning cocoa into chocolate. The visit includes the entrance to the chocolate factory to design, mold, and decorate three chocolate bars, from organic and ethically sourced chocolate (options: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, vegan milk chocolate). In addition to chocolate, there are about 54 ingredients to choose from to decorate the bars; Nuts, dehydrated fruits, seeds, essential oils, chocolate drops, spices.. You can take your own chocolate home of course!

We will also have a little bit of time to walk and explore the beautiful town of Mijas and see all the streets full of flowers, little squares and meet its well-known mules!. If you want to you can also taste some tapas in any of its cozy bars around the square.

A day full of fun thanks to Random Fun Adventures and also with the facility of providing you the transport!

10.30 am: Visit the CAC Mijas Contemporary Museum 

12.00 Mayan Monkeys Workshop: We make Chocolate! + guided visit to the factory

13.00 pm: Free time to explore Mijas + lunch (optional) - Place recommended: Tomillo Limón - tapas.

DÍA EN MIJAS: FÁBRICA DE CHOCOLATE Y MUSEO CONTEMPORÁNEO

¡Mijas es simplemente precioso! Calles preciosas y mucho que ver y descubrir con Random Fun Adventures.

Comenzaremos nuestro viaje a Mijas visitando el Museo Contemporáneo, donde podremos descubrir más de 39 obras de Picasso y 49 de Dalí + otras 600 obras de otros artistas internacionales. La visita será guiada en inglés y español.

Luego visitaremos la Fábrica de Chocolate Mayan Monkeys, en la que aprenderemos sobre los fascinantes orígenes del chocolate, incluido el papel clave de España en su historia, y también el proceso de convertir el cacao en chocolate. 

La visita incluye la entrada a la fábrica para diseñar, moldear y decorar tres barritas de chocolate, a partir de chocolate orgánico. (Tienes varias opciones: chocolate negro, chocolate con leche, chocolate blanco, chocolate con leche vegano). Además del chocolate, hay alrededor de 54 ingredientes entre los que elegir para decorar estas barritas; Frutos secos, frutas deshidratadas, semillas, aceites esenciales, gotas de chocolate, especias ... 

¡Por supuesto, puedes llevarte tu propio chocolate a casa!

También tendremos tiempo para caminar y explorar por el hermoso pueblo de Mijas, ver todas las calles llenas de flores y plazas, y hacer unas visitas a los famosos burritos. También podrás irte de tapas por algunos de los bares de la zona.

¡Un día lleno de diversión gracias a Random Fun Adventures y también con la facilidad de proveer el transporte a través de los pueblos que rodean la A7!

Precio: 39 € adultos / 35 € niños.El precio incluye: entrada a los dos museos (Chocolate y Arte contemporáneo) y transporte incluido desde Gibraltar a Mijas (os recogemos a lo largo de la A7)

Please bear in mind, that if you are unable to attend the event, a Refund can be issued if there are 7 Working Days between your cancelation and the event itself (minus a €5 cancelation fee). If the event is cancelled within 7 working days, sadly the booking cannot be refunded as your booking would have been finalised - so always remember to double check your diary before booking :)

🚨 1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1.1a – Regular Events: If you can’t attend, a refund (minus a €10pp admin fee) is available only if cancelled more than 7 working days before the event. Cancellations within 7 working days are non-refundable. Always check the specific event’s terms when booking, as you'll need to agree to these to proceed.

1.2b – #RFA Adventure Holidays: If you cancel: €50pp will be retained. Once flights are booked, that part is non-refundable. If you cancel within 28 days of travel, the entire booking is non-refundable. Please double-check you're happy with the dates before reserving.
1.3c - If part of the service is disrupted (such as transport, e.g. a bus breakdown, traffic or a delay) but the event or activity itself still goes ahead, refunds will not be issued. We kindly ask for grace and patience under these circumstances. You may decide whether or not to attend under these circumstances, but choosing not to participate will be considered your own decision and no refunds will be issued. We will always do our best to arrange alternatives or minimize disruption. If a trip cannot go ahead and Random Fun Adventures has to cancel the activity or event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to join an alternative adventure.

2.1a - Deposits: If you’ve booked with a deposit, full payment is due by the date shown on your event. Miss the deadline? Your spot may go to someone on the waitlist. When making a Transfer, simply put your Name & Event as the reference and send me a little message to track your payment

📸 3. Media Consent
3.1a - Photos & videos are taken at all events for social media & future marketing. Let me know before the event if you'd prefer not to appear.

4.1a - Random Fun Adventures is covered by Public Liability Insurance. However, you should also have:

Personal cover for belongings and medical needs. Mountain/hiking insurance if joining a hike. Travel insurance if joining a #RFAHoliday. All Random Fun Adventures activities are joined at your own risk. By booking and attending, you acknowledge that some events may involve physical activity, travel, or outdoor conditions. Random Fun Adventures accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our proven negligence. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health to take part in activities and for bringing any required medication, protective equipment, or personal items. It is strongly recommended that you hold appropriate personal travel/health insurance to cover accidents, injuries, or unforeseen circumstances. Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times during family-friendly events.

👋 5. Your Host
5.1a - I may not personally be at every event — but don’t worry! You’ll be advised of your #RFA Ambassador 24 hours before the adventure if I’m not attending.
 

👯‍♀️ 6. Group Size & Cancellations
6.1a - Most events require a minimum of 10 people to go ahead. Please spread the word! If numbers fall short, we’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance if we need to postpone.

7.1a - Booking adds you to our email mailing list — keep an eye out for updates, special invites, and new adventures!
 

🧳 8. International Travel
8.1a - Important for International Trips: It is your responsibility to check the visa requirements for the country you are visiting. You must obtain and carry all necessary documents and identification. Random Fun Adventures cannot advise on visa or entry requirements and holds no responsibility for individuals who are denied entry or lack the appropriate documentation. If you're booking an international Random Fun Adventure, please research and ensure everything is in order before confirming your booking.

🚌 9. Coach Travel Information
9.1a - We use the standard Public Bus route when completing Random Fun Adventures. Therefore, we use safe public bus stops only. Pickup is typically on the right side of the road, and our return drop-offs are on the left. This is to prevent us going back on ourselves and to keep the return trips as smooth and efficient as possible. Please factor this into your return plans.
