And for this hike, we're off to La Finca In Alcaidesa - Which is one of our Medium Difficulty Hikes during the month of February.

​This is one of Random Fun Adventures favourite winter hikes, simply because we get to indulge in a YUMMY LA FINCA Sunday lunch!!! We've done this one Many, Many, Many times... So we know you're in for a real treat! 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃

Embark on an unforgettable hike that blends coastal beauty, serene nature, and local charm. Starting from the Carrefour in La Linea, this trail will take you through the stunning landscapes of southern Spain, with incredible views and hidden gems along the way. We'll take the scenic route up and over the Cresta de Sierra Carbonera.  This is one of the most rewarding and underrated ridgelines in the whole Campo de Gibraltar area. It’s the backbone-like crest that rises sharply behind La Línea de la Concepción, giving you an elevated, panoramic sweep of land and sea almost the entire way. With gorgeous views of Gibraltar, La Linea, San Roque, Morocco and Beyond!

After our gorgeous hike, we'll end our adventure at La Finca in Alcaidesa. Feel free to stay on if you wish too and if you have time 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃 For anyone staying for Sunday Lunch, we're booked in for 14:00pm - And the booking is under Ria - Random Fun Adventures.

After lunch, we can either share taxis back to the Carrefour in La Linea, or walk back along the beach, depending on the weather and the food comas!!! hehehe 🙂 Sunday Lunch is completely optional. But the pictures below should hopefully entice you to stay 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Around 13kms

𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 363m

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 3-4 Hours

𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲: Steep Incline once we leave La Linea, up Cresta de Sierra Carbonera. Then its a steady decent down to Alcaidesa. The last few kilometers are along the service road. I would say this hike is Medium Difficulty simply because of the incline and distance. Please double check the hike statistics above, before signing up.
