EVENT - BUDDHA HIKE IN TARIFA The Buddha Hike in Tarifa is perfect if you want a moderate, rewarding walk with big views and a unique twist. You’ll climb through pine forests to panoramic viewpoints over the Strait of Gibraltar, with Africa visible on clear days, and discover a small hidden Buddha shrine along the way. It’s an ideal half-day hike for people who enjoy nature, a bit of effort, and a calm, almost magical atmosphere.

And for this hike, we're taking on one of our Medium Difficultly Hikes - in the gorgeous Tarifa! And we'll take on the beautiful Buddha Hike with its gorgeous views over the Tarifa coast line!!

I would rate this hike 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 > 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭. Simply because its UP UP UP It has a lot of Elevation, so the hills can take your breath away. We go slow and steady, and wait for everyone to hike at their own pace. During our climb to the top, we stumble across a little cove, where people have left like Buddha Statues (hence the hike name - its so cute!!!). So feel free to bring your own peace offering, or a little environmentally friendly candle.

We then continue our climb to the top of the mountain, where we are presented with huge impressive windmills. Upon the decent, we'll ramble down through the forest and head back to our starting point. So Overall - An Amazing Hike!!! One not to be missed.

Who This Hike Is For:

🥾 The Buddha route (Sendero del Buda) is generally rated moderate — not a difficult mountain trek, but longer and hillier than a simple stroll. It involves some climbs and uneven terrain, so you should be comfortable walking several kilometers with a bit of incline.

🌿 Nature & View Lovers - This hike is great for people who appreciate: Panoramic views of Tarifa, Los Lances beach, Valdevaqueros, the Strait of Gibraltar and even the African coast on clear days.

🌳 Forest paths through pine and cork oak landscapes - Ideal if you enjoy scenery and fresh air, not just reaching a summit.
