Get ready for an exhilarating ride through nature on this gorgeous route between Ronda & Setenil de las Bodegas. A scenic point-to-point journey connecting two of Andalusia’s most iconic locations. This route is designed as a "Vía Verde Style" experience, utilizing a mix of quiet secondary roads and rural gravel tracks that showcase the authentic agricultural heart of the region. This 28km cycling adventure offers the perfect journey from Ronda & Setenil de las Bodegas. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a beginner, this trip caters to all skill levels with its easy, scenic path, making it the ultimate way to immerse yourself in stunning landscapes.

● Terrain: 80% Gravel Tracks / 20% Secondary Asphalt.
The Route Experience
Starting from the main Coach Parking in Ronda, the tour begins with a quick elevation gain over the first 2km to clear the town plateau. From this point, the terrain levels out into a gradual, undulating climb before a long, rewarding descent toward the valley of Setenil de las Bodegas. The ride immerses cyclists in classic Andalusian landscapes, featuring rolling farmland, historic olive groves, and high-altitude vineyards. Riders should keep an eye out for local livestock, including Iberian pigs, cattle, horses, and sheep.
Technical Note: The route is generally smooth, though slightly more rugged than a standard Vía Verde. There is one short, steep downhill section where we recommend less confident riders dismount and walk for 50 meters to ensure total safety. But we can do this together!
Arrival & Logistics
To ensure the best experience and avoid the narrow, congested pedestrian streets of the village, the cycling portion of the tour finishes at the Setenil Coach/Bus Parking located just outside the center. From here, guests will enjoy a short, scenic walk into the heart of Setenil de las Bodegas. This allows the group the freedom to explore the famous "Cave Houses" and enjoy a little drink on foot without the logistical difficulty of navigating a large group of bicycles through the historic center. We'll enjoy our free time there before heading home at 17:00pm
The trip includes transport from Gibraltar/La Línea and along the coast, so you can fully relax without worrying about driving or feeling too tired on the way home. 😊
We’ll depart from the Gibraltar/La Línea border at 09:00 AM, with a few scenic pick-up stops along the way. Just pop your preferred location on the booking form. If you’re further up the coast, send me a quick message—we’ll do our best to collect you en route! 🚐✨
