Get ready for one of Spain’s most breathtaking hikes! The Caminito del Rey offers awe-inspiring views, dramatic gorges, and unforgettable scenery that you’ll be talking about for years. This route is now very safe and secure, allowing you to enjoy the adventure with peace of mind.
 
⚠️ Important: 
This is a very active hike. It’s classed as Medium/Difficult and involves varying terrain, steps, gravel paths, walkways, bridges, suspension bridges, inclines, and some steep drops. You must be comfortable with heights and fairly active to fully enjoy this experience.
 
ABOUT THE WALK ROUTE: 
Linear route, in one direction, descending from North to South
 
DISTANCE: 11kms in Total
TIME SPENT ON THE WALK ITSELF: Between 2 - 3 Hours
AGE LIMIT: Children over the age of 8 are more than welcome to join us
 
We begin at the North Entrance, with a 1.5 km walk to reach the official start – the closest transport can get. After passing through security, you’ll meet your guide and start the 8 km official Caminito del Rey route. The trail includes steps, slats, bridges, and walkways, all designed to give you the most spectacular views. 
 
At the end, there are additional steps to reach the exit. Or of course, the BRAND NEW 110m Suspension Bridge! Followed by a 1.5km walk to the restaurants/bus stop, making the full day around 11 km of active hiking.
 
🚫 Please note: Walking sticks, selfie sticks, or any loose items are not allowed for safety reasons. This is a hike for those who want to feel the thrill, marvel at nature, and create unforgettable memories.

🚨 1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1.1a – Regular Events: If you can’t attend, a refund (minus a €10pp admin fee) is available only if cancelled more than 7 working days before the event. Cancellations within 7 working days are non-refundable. Always check the specific event’s terms when booking, as you'll need to agree to these to proceed.

1.2b – Moroccan Events: If you need to cancel: €30pp will be retained. If you cancel within 24 Hours of travel, the entire booking is non-refundable. Please double-check you're happy with the dates before reserving.


1.3c - If part of the service is disrupted (such as transport, e.g. a bus breakdown, traffic or a delay) but the event or activity itself still goes ahead, refunds will not be issued. We kindly ask for grace and patience under these circumstances. You may decide whether or not to attend under these circumstances, but choosing not to participate will be considered your own decision and no refunds will be issued. We will always do our best to arrange alternatives or minimize disruption. If a trip cannot go ahead and Random Fun Adventures has to cancel the activity or event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to join an alternative adventure.

📸 3. Media Consent
3.1a - Photos & videos are taken at all events for social media & future marketing. Let me know before the event if you'd prefer not to appear.
 

🛡️ 4. Insurance
4.1a - Random Fun Adventures is covered by Public Liability Insurance. However, you should also have: Personal cover for belongings and medical needs. Mountain/hiking insurance if joining a hike. Travel insurance if joining a Moroccan adventure. All Random Fun Adventures activities are joined at your own risk. By booking and attending, you acknowledge that some events may involve physical activity, travel, or outdoor conditions. Random Fun Adventures accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our proven negligence. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health to take part in activities and for bringing any required medication, protective equipment, or personal items.

 

It is strongly recommended that you hold appropriate personal travel/health insurance to cover accidents, injuries, or unforeseen circumstances. Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times during family-friendly events.

5.1a - Ria may not be at all events personally. However, you'll always be in safe hands with our trusted partners and suppliers. 
 

👯‍♀️ 6. Group Size & Cancellations
6.1a - Most events require a minimum of 10 people to go ahead. Please spread the word! If numbers fall short, we’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance if we need to postpone.

7.1a - Random Fun Adventures has an Email Mailing List. Where we share upcoming events, offers and news! 🧳 8. International Travel
8.1a - Important for International Trips: It is your responsibility to check the visa requirements for the country you are visiting. You must obtain and carry all necessary documents and identification. Random Fun Adventures cannot advise on visa or entry requirements and holds no responsibility for individuals who are denied entry or lack the appropriate documentation. If you're booking an international Random Fun Adventure, please research and ensure everything is in order before confirming your booking.

🚌 9. Coach Travel Information
9.1a - We use the standard Public Bus route when completing Random Fun Adventures. Therefore, we use safe public bus stops only. Pickup is typically on the right side of the road, and our return drop-offs are on the left. This is to prevent us going back on ourselves and to keep the return trips as smooth and efficient as possible. Please factor this into your return plans.

📜 10. Privacy Notice & GDPR Compliance

10.1a - At Random Fun Adventures, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What Data We Collect - Your name, email address, and phone number (when you sign up for events, newsletters, or WhatsApp updates). Payment information when you purchase tickets or merchandise (processed securely through our payment providers – we do not store card details). Photos or videos from events. How We Use Your Data - We only use your information to: Send you updates, offers, and event announcements. Manage your bookings and provide customer service. Improve our events and services.

10.2b– Communication of Updates & Changes
By registering for, booking, or attending a Random Fun Adventures event, you agree that we may contact you via Email and/or WhatsApp regarding important event information, updates, schedule changes, cancellations, safety notices, or other relevant communications related to your booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact details you provide during registration or booking are accurate and up to date. Random Fun Adventures cannot be held responsible for missed communications due to incorrect or outdated contact information.

10.3c - Sharing Your Data - We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Data is only shared with trusted providers. E.g. payment processors, booking systems, event & adventure providers, when necessary to deliver our services. 

10.4d - Your Rights - Under GDPR, you have the right to: Access the personal data we hold about you. Correct or update your details. Request deletion of your data. Withdraw consent for communications at any time. To exercise these rights, simply email us at - randomfunadventures@gmail.com
 

10.5e - Data Storage & Security - We store personal data securely and only for as long as necessary to provide our services.
