And for this hike, we're off to La Finca In Alcaidesa - Which is one of our Medium Difficulty Hikes during the month of December.

​This is one of Random Fun Adventures favourite winter hikes, simply because we get to indulge in a YUMMY LA FINCA Sunday lunch!!! We've done this one Many, Many, Many times... So we know you're in for a real treat! 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃


Embark on an unforgettable hike that blends coastal beauty, serene nature, and local charm. Starting from the Carrefour in La Linea, this trail will take you through the stunning landscapes of southern Spain, with incredible views and hidden gems along the way. We'll take the scenic route up and over the Cresta de Sierra Carbonera.  This is one of the most rewarding and underrated ridgelines in the whole Campo de Gibraltar area. It’s the backbone-like crest that rises sharply behind La Línea de la Concepción, giving you an elevated, panoramic sweep of land and sea almost the entire way. With gorgeous views of Gibraltar, La Linea, San Roque, Morocco and Beyond!


As its nearly Christmas, lets have a little fun and wear something Christmassy! Christmas Jumper, Christmas T-Shirt or Full Blown Santa Outfit 🎅🏽🤣🎅🏽🤣🎅🏽🤣


After our gorgeous hike, we'll end our adventure at La Finca in Alcaidesa. Feel free to stay on if you wish too and if you have time 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃 For anyone staying for Sunday Lunch, we're booked in for 14:00pm - And the booking is under Ria - Random Fun Adventures.


After lunch, we can either share taxis back to the Carrefour in La Linea, or walk back along the beach, depending on the weather and the food comas!!! hehehe 🙂 Sunday Lunch is completely optional. But the pictures below should hopefully entice you to stay 🏞️⛰️🥾💪🏼⛰️🍗🥦🥔🥕🍽️🥃

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞: Linear One Way Route

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Around 13kms

𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 363m

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: 3-4 Hours

𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲: Steep Incline once we leave La Linea, up Cresta de Sierra Carbonera. Then its a steady decent down to Alcaidesa. The last few kilometers are along the service road. I would say this hike is Medium Difficulty simply because of the incline and distance. Please double check the hike statistics above, before signing up.

🚨 1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
1.1a – Regular Events: If you can’t attend, a refund (minus a €10pp admin fee) is available only if cancelled more than 7 working days before the event. Cancellations within 7 working days are non-refundable. Always check the specific event’s terms when booking, as you'll need to agree to these to proceed.

1.2b – Moroccan Events: If you need to cancel: €30pp will be retained. If you cancel within 24 Hours of travel, the entire booking is non-refundable. Please double-check you're happy with the dates before reserving.


1.3c - If part of the service is disrupted (such as transport, e.g. a bus breakdown, traffic or a delay) but the event or activity itself still goes ahead, refunds will not be issued. We kindly ask for grace and patience under these circumstances. You may decide whether or not to attend under these circumstances, but choosing not to participate will be considered your own decision and no refunds will be issued. We will always do our best to arrange alternatives or minimize disruption. If a trip cannot go ahead and Random Fun Adventures has to cancel the activity or event, you will be offered a full refund or the option to join an alternative adventure.

📸 3. Media Consent
3.1a - Photos & videos are taken at all events for social media & future marketing. Let me know before the event if you'd prefer not to appear.

4.1a - Random Fun Adventures is covered by Public Liability Insurance. However, you should also have: Personal cover for belongings and medical needs. Mountain/hiking insurance if joining a hike. Travel insurance if joining a Moroccan adventure. All Random Fun Adventures activities are joined at your own risk. By booking and attending, you acknowledge that some events may involve physical activity, travel, or outdoor conditions. Random Fun Adventures accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where caused by our proven negligence. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health to take part in activities and for bringing any required medication, protective equipment, or personal items.

 

It is strongly recommended that you hold appropriate personal travel/health insurance to cover accidents, injuries, or unforeseen circumstances. Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times during family-friendly events.

5.1a - Ria may not be at all events personally. However, you'll always be in safe hands with our trusted partners and suppliers. 
 

👯‍♀️ 6. Group Size & Cancellations
6.1a - Most events require a minimum of 10 people to go ahead. Please spread the word! If numbers fall short, we’ll let you know at least 24 hours in advance if we need to postpone.

7.1a - Random Fun Adventures has an Email Mailing List. Where we share upcoming events, offers and news! 8.1a - Important for International Trips: It is your responsibility to check the visa requirements for the country you are visiting. You must obtain and carry all necessary documents and identification. Random Fun Adventures cannot advise on visa or entry requirements and holds no responsibility for individuals who are denied entry or lack the appropriate documentation. If you're booking an international Random Fun Adventure, please research and ensure everything is in order before confirming your booking.

🚌 9. Coach Travel Information
9.1a - We use the standard Public Bus route when completing Random Fun Adventures. Therefore, we use safe public bus stops only. Pickup is typically on the right side of the road, and our return drop-offs are on the left. This is to prevent us going back on ourselves and to keep the return trips as smooth and efficient as possible. Please factor this into your return plans.

10.1a - At Random Fun Adventures, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What Data We Collect - Your name, email address, and phone number (when you sign up for events, newsletters, or WhatsApp updates). Payment information when you purchase tickets or merchandise (processed securely through our payment providers – we do not store card details). Photos or videos from events. How We Use Your Data - We only use your information to: Send you updates, offers, and event announcements. Manage your bookings and provide customer service. Improve our events and services.
